Bright-Coloured Snails Invade Sydney

Snailovation

As part of the Art and About Festival in Sydney, numerous large snails highlighted with bright neon colours are scattered all around the metropolis.  Aptly called “Snailovation”, the vibrant snails were created by the Cracking Art Group, an internationally-acclaimed group of artists of our modern time.

The exhibition continues until the 20th of October. To get additional information about Art and About and its various activities as well as the locations of the giant snails are detailed in their website.

  1. Love these brightly coloured snails. They add a crazy, fun atmosphere to Sydney.

  2. We saw these snails around Sydney. Nice to know a bit of background.

  3. A very nice take on these. I’ve got one nearby, but never saw them all and never at night.
